Very clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and a generous breakfast. Owners very helpful, parking on site although a bit tight if the B & B is full. We had a very nice stay.
We stayed at this fantastic guesthouse on July 17th for 3 nights, stayed in room 2 which has a balcony over looking the excellent and large garden which the guests are allowed to wonder around.The room was well equipped and clean and bed very comfortable, Black out blinds for the early morning sunshine.Our hosts Caroline and Jon are very nice people and Jon does the breakfast (A1 mate) and Caroline is very attentive looking after the guests, 10 mims walk to town, lots of bars places to eat, beaches, also some private bathing beaches (used to be separate for men and women) these are accessed through some old tunnels (2.50 each) come and go all day.We also caught the boat to Lundy for the day, two hours each way nice island to spend 4 hours need a lot longer, the choice at breakfast has also a veggie option and that also has a option on what type of veggie sausage you would like, nothing is too much for Caroline and Jon they are wonderful people, we will be back againThank you both
A conveniently situated B&B within walking distance of the town located in an imposing victorian residence. John and Caroline are excellent hoists offering good service and helpful local advice & information. The room was well appointed and featured a balcony overlooking the extensive garden. A warm welcome and a fine breakfast are guaranteed!
Clean, welcoming, on site parking, beautiful multi tiered garden, half way up hill (not quite Clovelly), lovely multi choice breakfast, very comfortable room and facilties, (no fridge in room) access to fridge and fresh milk downstairs if run out. Stay again - yes. Lovely town
No nonsense B&B. Very clean, very tidy and good value. Staff very friendly and nice views. No problems with parking on site or in the road. Only downside, if you can call it that, breakfast served during a very narrow window.
