I recommend staying here. Very clean, friendly, comfy bed and probably the best breakfast we had on our trip to England. Felt right at home. Everything was perfect! Lovely people and great service.
This is a very welcoming and hospitable place to stay. Sharon & Daryl are perfect hosts and the breakfasts are excellent. The rooms are very well fitted out and decorated to a high standard. The views from the rooms are superb - see pic. I couldn't recommend it enough. Thanks for a lovely holiday
We have been here twice now and the welcome each time was fabulous, Sharon and Daryl the owners are great host's. The breakfast is to die for and so much of it. The place is an ideal location as everything is walking distance. Beautiful place to stay and well recommended. Will be returning. Pam and Bob from Coventry. Lovingly restored and run, this place is a gem. It's very well situated: a comfortable handsbreath away from the bustle of the harbour area, but with easy access to the town and environs. The hosting is gracious, friendly, and welcoming, and the breakfast is wonderful, with options including the hearty "full Devon", local fish, and vegetarian options. The house has been restored and decorated in proper Victorian style as befits its history as a longstanding place of hospitality in Ilfracoombe. Note that this means no lifts and smallish washrooms, etc. -- but that's part of the charm, yes? Strongly recommended.
Had the most amazing stay here. Sharon was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfect and the bed was really comfy. Location is great with sea views and just a short stroll into the town. Breakfast was superb. Would highly recommend staying here.
