Great cafe serving a good range of home cooked food. The liver and onions is a treat to eat. Very friendly staff who always give you a great welcome.
5 stars for the lovely service and yummy breakfast. A couple of suggestions: give the milk separate to the tea and leave the bag in so people can judge the strength they want. Also, freshen up the menu a bit if you can (poached eggs, avocado, etc.).
Found this little gem of a cafe on our last day of holiday two years ago. Only wish we had found it sooner! We visited again this year and were not disappointed! The service was second to none - especially for my two year old who relished the attention!!! The food is hearty and locally sourced . The toast was a farmhouse which was nice . Micks breakfast will most certainly keep you going through to lunch time.Lovely little bonus that they have a window seat with books and toys to keep little hands busy! Thank you for your great customer service - definitely the friendliest cafe in the area!
You can not fault the quality of the food at The Manor House. All produce is locally sourced and the majority of food is homemade by Mick the proprietor. Warm, clean and welcoming. Probably one of the better cafe's in Ilfracombe. Highly recommend if your after a 'Better' standard than your run of the mill greasy spoon.
