Fantastic welcome! Great customer service. Did everything they could to help us with our 10 month old son. I would highly recommend!
Although we appreciated the lovely, friendly service, the scones seemed like defrosted and microwaved ones, with no currants like a traditional scone. They were small, squishy and did not flake apart. Jam and cream was generous, however. Pretty disappointed with the quality. Scones did not appear like the ones on the reviews.
one of the waitresses made a rude comment about me being on my phone when she approached the table (I was actually updating the important potentially life saving ICE information on my grandma's phone while we had stopped for a break) and then we were served flour heavy scones for the cream tea which was a let down as this is my first visit to one of the cream tea motherlands and my first experience of a Devonshire cream tea so disappointing. However the chips my husband had with his ham and eggs were very good hence the slight save on the stars.
Great place for breakfast. This was our first place when we arrived. Great menu and the food was really good. Friendly staff and child friendly too. I would highly recommend a visit.
Nice food, friendly staff and had a lovely outdoor eating area (I didn't go inside). The only problem were the loud bells from the adjacent church as there was a wedding on!
