Tired and weary perfectly describes both us (after our stay) and the holiday park."refurbished" apartments which had broken handles, sofa, locks, blocked drains, the front door didn't lock properly, carpets torn and worn, broken glass on the floors you name it, it was broken or damaged.After contacting reception I was told they were fully booked so couldn't do anything about our apartment, I contacted them by email when we left early - yes the place was that bad we came home 2days early! I was told politely by email after waiting two weeks for a reply it was tough luck and they hid behind there booking conditions.Don't be fooled by the glossy photos this place is a dump.
I definitely recommend!!! We've just left after 2 weeks, we had a fantastic holiday. 1 bedroom chalet turned out to be a bit too small for my family which was my mistake with booking but people were very helpful and found us bigger accommodation for a good price, high standard and very clean. Fabulous everyday entertainment for kids and adults, swimming pool with 2 lifeguards and fantastic food served by the chef. Also close to many attractions like family parks and lovely beaches.
Please ensure you read Terms & Conditions when considering taking a dog on holiday to to this park. You will not be able to leave your dog in the accommodation unsupervised, This will affect your ability to go to things like the evening entertainment, which you may not have thought of. One of you will need to stay with the dog in the accommodation.Forewarned is forearmed.
Really great place to stay. Friendly staff & helpful housekeepers. Nice clubhouse, indoor pool & two good lifeguards that we met. Would come back again. Such lovely views and places to visit.
Great cheap family holiday with fairly good facilities, swimming pool and club house entertainment very good. The accommodation is under going big refurbishment at the moment (some could find this a let down) but a bonus if you get one of the newly refurbished ones. Very near to Ilfracombe and a 15 minute drive to the amazing beech at Woolacombe.
