Out of season a very nice place to visit
One of the best sites we have been on . The wardens were especially good very friendly couldn't do enough for us . One day he walked over to our caravan and said he hadn't spoken to us for a couple of days so thought he would make sure we were ok.Thank you from both of us .
Lovely location, surrounded by fields. It's a few miles outside of Ilfracombe but the town is easy to get to. Great if you want a quiet, secluded break. Motorhome facilities could be slightly better but they are available.
If you want peace, quiet, birdsong and don't mind very occasional agricultural odours, this may be the place for you. Bear in mind you have to be self sufficient because there's no toilet block. Good pub, community shop and church in village just down the lane. Easy going down but a little more difficult getting back up to site if you walk. Oh and if you can't do without it there's a Tesco within 4 miles.
