Great honest food. Good menu with large range. Lots of choice. Quite an old fashioned menu but actually this is really nice having a blast from the past. Would have given 5 stars if they catered more for a free from diet.

Roast dinner is superb and restaurant very clean. However, I asked the staff if we could light a candle because there were too many flies pestering us and they, "didn't have one" - otherwise, would have rated 5 because we wasn't inclined to stop for dessert.
