Great place, friendly staff, would go there again.
I/we have been coming to Sandaway for a few years now & we always loved it. This time was a huge let down. The caravan was great BUT going up the clubhouse was such a huge let down. The prices for four soft drinks, no booze, was extortionate, 12.20. And the entertainment staff, well I think they raided the local nursing home. All the kids looked totally bemused as he had no energy about him. So, so gutted this time, not happy. Sorry

Idilic place to be. Such an excellent site for a base for exploring the surrounding area?
Enjoyed our 2 week stay, lovely views, staff and local village. We booked the lodge, which is very comfortable . However, it backs onto the children's playground. We were woken every morning at 7.30am by other peoples children! We have our own , who have grown up on caravan/ holiday parks with respect for others peace and quiet. Unfortunately this wasn't reciprocated here. This is partly the fault of the park who do not in force timing rules of the park. We will not be returning!
