I like this park. It's sheltered from the wind and is rather calming with its soothing water sounds, plenty of trees and green areas and also a small toy boat pond.
Bicclescombe is an award winning park. Beautifully kept flower beds, sensory garden, children's playground, tennis courts, duck ponds & streams. A pleasure at any time if the year. Toilets, parking & refreshments available.
Loved this park and took my dog for a walk around it every day when I was in Ilfracombe. Other dog walkers very friendly.The park has an old water mill which is now a cafe seats outside , a nice looking building. Lovely flower beds and the whole park well kept .Tennis courts. Children's play area .Lake and a stream running along side of path .Summer house at the top of two grassy banks footpath up to it not suitable for the unsteady. Senor garden .All in all a very nice place with plenty of benches to relax.
I love walking my dog up here, other than when I'm picking up other people's dog poop. There is a nice walk around the park with a good space for your dog to run (only if they are good with other dogs), litter bins and rubbish bins all over, playing park for the kids, tennis courts, a duck pond, and a river working up and around the top of the park down to the middle.
Lovely park with plenty to do first children and adults.Tennis courts available. Good size play area and toilets on site.Parking is small but never had any issues getting a space.Picturesque with beautiful tendered flower borders. A nice walk for all the family.
