As chip shops go this is great. We stayed in the town and was looking for a good chip shop and was pointed in their direction, great food and reasonably priced . No wonder "it's the fish& chip of the locals" seriously it's good value

The chips are very very nice, soft on inside and crispy on outside, lots of tasty crispy bits too. The chips are cooked in palm oil and cooked separate to any fish or meat products so if you're vegetarian like my girlfriend these are ideal for you. Definitely the best in Ilfracombe.
My wife and I had a lovely fish and chip tea sitting inside to eat. We were very impressed with both the food served and the staff working there. We would definatly eat there again and happy to refer the place for others to eat at.
