Just now I've realised why have to pay so much for insurance companies. If this guys charging just for the assessment approx 80 and for a recovery within 5 miles minimum 300 I'm saying minimum because after the assessment the required amount was increased with another 120.Meanwhile I've been charged just 60 to sort the recovery by a honest guy.If someone wants to be ripped off this way call this garage if not... search for other options before to call them.Good luck!
I am absolutely disgusted by the way an employee of this garage treated a blind person and her Guide Dog who were passengers in a car which broke down on an Industrial Estate in Barnstaple on a very hot day. Having loaded the car on to his trailer the driver refused to let the Guide Dog into his cab with its owner and suggested the dog should go into the car alone with the windows shut in very hot weather with no water for the animal.This discrimination is totally illegal under the Equalities Act 2010 and can result in a heavy fine. The poor blind person was left alone with her dog on the Industrial Estate and her husband had to travel forty miles to rescue them.
